Definitions
"Conditions" means these terms and conditions and the Special Conditions; "Product" means a product displayed for sale on the Website; "Product Description" means that part of the Website where certain terms and conditions in respect of the individual Product are provided; "Users" means the users of the Website collectively; "We/us" means BATHROOMTV-WATERPROOFTV; "Website" means the website located at www.bathroomtv-waterprooftv.co.uk "United Kingdom" means England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands and "You" means a user of this Website.
Use of the website
Access
You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
Our rights
We reserve the right to:
modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or
change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.
Description of products
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.
Order cancellation
Please note that you are entitled to cancel this order if you so wish provided that you exercise your right no longer than seven working days after the day on which you receive the Products.
Returns
Please note that when returning rejected goods, the package and contents must in perfect condition. If the product returned is not in fully resaleable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
PLEASE NOTE: a 10% re-stocking fee applies in all cases of goods being cancelled. Please call us to arrange collection of the returned goods. No goods will be accepted at the company’s warehouse without prior consent. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods safely to our warehouse. We will refund your money within 30 days of cancellation, less any delivery costs incurred. Returns outside this period will not be accepted.
Cancellation of made-to-order products
Should you wish to cancel your made-to-order product for any reason, it is unlikely that we could sell it to another customer at full selling price. We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the full selling price. In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Your Guarantee/Warranty
We guarantees the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the date of original purchase for a period of ONE YEAR from that date.
If within the guarantee period the product is determined to be defective (at the date of original purchase) due to improper materials or workmanship, We will, without charge for labour or parts, repair or replace the product or its defective parts subject to the terms and limitations below.
These guarantees do not cover:
Periodic maintenance and repair or parts replacement due to wear and tear (such as the backlight for LCD Monitors) Persistent image retention (burn-in) caused by constant projection of the same image or images.
Guarantee services will be provided only if the original invoice or sales receipt (indicating the date of purchase, model name and dealer's name) is presented with the defective product within the guarantee period. We may refuse free-of-charge guarantee service if these documents are not presented or if they are incomplete or illegible. This Guarantee will not apply if the model name or serial number on the product has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible.
This Guarantee does not cover transport costs and risks associated with transport of your product to and from us.
This guarantee does not cover:
periodic maintenance and repair or parts replacement due to wear and tear.
damage or defects caused by use, operation or treatment of the product inconsistent with normal personal or domestic use.
damage or changes to the product as a result of :
misuse, including:
- treatment resulting in physical, cosmetic or surface damage or changes to the product or damage to liquid crystal displays.
- failure to install or use the product for its normal purpose or in accordance with instructions on installation or use.
- failure to maintain the product in accordance with instructions on proper maintenance.
- Iinstallation or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with the technical or safety laws or standards in the country where it is installed or used.
repair or attempted repair by persons who are not us.
adjustments or adaptations without our prior written consent, including:
- upgrading the product beyond specifications or features described in the instruction manual, or
- modifications to the product to conform it to national or local technical or safety standards in countries other than those for which the product was specifically designed and manufactured.

. Accidents, fire, liquids, chemicals, other substances, flooding, vibrations, excessive heat, improper ventilation, power surges, excess or incorrect supply or input voltage, radiation, electrostatic discharges including lighting, other external forces and impacts.
